On Queen Victoria's maiden voyage, the beautiful ship stopped in Bar Harbor Maine for a visit!
The ship, on her way up the Maine coast, came into the Bar Harbor harbor at approximately 7:30 am this morning. The weather cooperated and we had a clear sunny day to view the ship and to show off our beautiful coast line and village. We had a welcome party for the Captain and passengers and Janice Strout, Celebration Cakes, who bakes many of our Wedding Cakes, baked a beautiful sheet cake in honor of the ship!
nice idea to bake an welcome-cake. it´s always an event when such a big ship visits any harbor!
