It is hard to believe that we will open the doors at the Bar Harbor Inn for the season this Friday, March 20, 2009!
The Winter has been a long one for many people, I believe we experienced a few record breaking amounts of snow on different days and the cold has been hard. I guess I don't fight it, we can't do anything about it so try and find something enjoyable about it.
We have had some beautiful days with the snow fallling on the pines sticking to some providing a beautiful scene to view. The skies not the usual pretty blue but a different color also very attractive in it's own right. The calm quiet that goes along with a Winter storm.
In the middle of Summer, I will look back at Winter and smile remembering the sites, sounds and most beautiful the colors.
