Bar Harbor Inn's Accounting Department's Corgi

I don't think there is anyone in the downtown part of Bar Harbor that does not know "Little Bit", one of our Accounting Departments, Corgi.  Little Bit can be seen taking mail to the post office, deposits to the bank or just taking a walk along the shore path.  She has a wonderful personality and is loved by many.

How can you resist this face?Img015_2

Bar Harbor Inn Reservation Manager's Puppy

Kaitlen has a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog named "Cooper". He is 8 3/4 months old and pure puppy at heart.  Cooper and Dakotah (another employee's dog) go to a "dog" friendly pond on Mount Desert Island, where they can run, swim and play together all day long!  They really do enjoy it. Here is a picture of a "wet" Cooper just after swimming!

A beautiful sand beach in the mountain side....

Sand_beach_08

I remember as a child saying "how can there be a beach, never mind a sand beach, in the middle of a mountain?" What a beautiful thing!

Despite my Mom's worry about my swimming there, I loved it! Great waves, water is a bit cold, but that's ok with me!

When you visit Bar Harbor, make sure you go to Acadia National Park, drive the loop road and stop to see Sand Beach.

You may think you were transported to a Florida Beach!
