Time to update the Ladies Room!

Our Facility Manager, John has been busy with his crew painting, repairing and creating new features for you to see.  Here he is making a new cabinet for the Ladies Room in the Inn.

 

Finishing up repairs to ready for the season!

The owner of the Bar Harbor Inn believes in taking care of the beautiful properties we all love.  The end of the Inn building needed some repair after salt water and time took it's toll.  This project is almost finished up!

We will open our Inn doors on Friday, March 21, 2008 for the season. If you haven't made your reservations yet, please call 1-800-248-3351.

Our "famous" Easter Sunday Brunch will take place on Sunday, March 23rd from 10am to 8pm. Please call ahead for reservations 1-800-248-3351 or 1-207-288-3351

Abbe Museum

The next time you are in Bar Harbor, please take the time to visit the Abbe Museum.  When I was a child, I loved the opportunity to go to the museum.  I was curious about the "Indians" and how they lived.  I had an immediate love for the baskets made by them and wanted to be one with them. The Abbe has many exhibitions showing the history and culture of Maine's Native American heritage.
