As I was leaving work at the Bar Harbor Inn yesterday, I passed by the Atlantic Oceanside (formally Atlantic Oakes) and look at what I saw.... I could see one each day and I would still feel like a child inside! What a beautiful thing!

A group of University of Maine students worked at the Bar Harbor Inn between the years of 1951 - 1955. Hugh Keeve was one of them, and has donated to the Inn some very special photos!
The photo's are part of the new "History Hall" at the Inn, one of them even includes an American film actress "Veronica Lake"!
We were fortunate to learn of their visit and took the following photo's of them admiring themselves a few years ago!
